Talent Dev Prep is operated by Alyssa Wied ("we", "us"). For the personal data described in this notice, Alyssa Wied is the data controller.

  • Study data — your answers, progress, scores, and session activity in the app.
  • Support data — messages you send us.
  • Technical data — device identifiers, IP address, browser type, and usage telemetry.
  • Payment data — handled by Paddle (we do not store full card details).

3. How we use it

  • Provide and operate the Service (contract performance).
  • Track your study progress and personalize practice (contract performance).
  • Security and fraud prevention (legitimate interests).
  • Improve the Service (legitimate interests).
  • Customer support (contract performance).
  • Marketing communications, where you have opted in (consent).

4. Who we share data with

  • Service providers — hosting, database, and analytics providers acting as our processors.
  • Merchant of RecordPaddle, for sales, subscription management, payments, tax compliance, and invoicing.
  • Professional advisers — legal and accounting, where necessary.
  • Authorities — where required by law.

5. Data retention

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account closure, data is deleted or anonymized unless we are required to keep it for legal, tax, or accounting reasons.

6. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to processing of your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us through the support channels on our website. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Your data may be processed in countries outside your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or adequacy decisions.

While we strive to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards, we cannot guarantee its absolute security, and you provide your information at your own risk.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for any activity that occurs under your account. We strongly recommend using a unique, strong password and not reusing it across services.

9. Data breach notification

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users and relevant supervisory authorities as required by applicable law, within the timeframes that law requires. Any such notification is provided to comply with legal obligations and does not constitute an admission of fault or liability.

10. Minimization

We aim to collect only the data needed to operate the Service. Please do not submit sensitive personal data (such as government IDs, financial account numbers, or health information) through study answers, support messages, or other free-text fields — they are not intended to receive such data, and we accept no responsibility for sensitive data submitted in this way.

11. Cookies

We use essential cookies needed to operate the Service (e.g. authentication). We may also use analytics cookies to understand usage. You can manage cookie preferences through your browser settings.

12. Children

The Service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

13. Changes to this notice

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
